The Tanglewood TSF CE WH Evolution features a stunning spruce top which offers a versatile tonality that yields crisp articulation and delivers a broad dynamic range. Spruce is commonly used to construct guitar tops, as the wood generates a versatile tonality which accommodates many different genres and techniques with ease. Its brightly toned spruce top is coupled with mahogany back and sides that deliver a rich, resonant warmth. Used as back and side panels the mahogany delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.
Constructed from mahogany, the Evolution's neck delivers superb warmth and resonance that responds greatly to many different playing styles and techniques. Its neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that adds a sonic warmth combined with a bright sparkle to the overall tone. The rosewood fingerboard also offers players a smooth and energetic playing experience and is sprinkled with white dot inlays for a classic acoustic look.
The Tanglewood TSF CE WH features a super folk body which suits a wide range of playing styles, offering full tones with excellent depth and versatility. In addition, the Evolution's shape offers a beautiful balance across the frequency range, and delivers a powerful projection. The super folk body accommodates numerous genres and styles of play, but will be favoured by folk players and fingerpicking stylists, as the slightly larger body delivers that bit of extra volume craved. To promote the access of upper fingerboard shredding, the Tanglewood TSF CE WH features a cutaway profile, enabling players to reach more challenging chords with ease.
The Tanglewood TSF CE WH comes equipped with Fishman electronics, making it ideal for live and rehearsal environments. The built-in preamp features rotary controls for bass, middle, treble, and volume, offering basic sound tweaking when plugged in. In addition, the preamp also features a button for phase, which helps to prevent undesirable feedback within live settings. As well as all this, the Fishman Presys comes with a built-in tuner and an easy-read LED screen, for the added convenience of quick and easy tuning within dark and live settings.
