The Azimuth II Module builds on the success of the original Intellijel Azimuth module, with a brand new circuit design with 12 VCAs in total. The Azimuth II performs three independent functions including voltage-controlled panning and fading, as well as innovative stereo processing. The stereo linear input VCAs features independent CV controls and attenuators for optimal control over your parameters, allowing you to dial in the signals with precision. Its versatile design means its capable of being a panning unit as well as providing the means to enhance your stereo field and even act as a compact crossfader for your modular setup.
The innovative stereo enhancement functionality of the module, allows you to deliver a range of effects. The main Width control allows you to blend between Mono and Super stereo modes for added versatility. When the attenuator is turned fully to the Super mode it provides a wider stereo field, designed to create the illusion of a super wide stereo image. At the top of the module is a attenuator designed to control the crossfading and panning functions. The Width control for the stereo parameter also helps to determine the functions of the Panning knob.
The compact design of the Azimuth II module only requires 10HP of space, providing you with a multifaceted utility module that can be used for a range of applications. The module features 8 patch points in total, with dedicated connection for both left and right channel as well as the Pan and Width parameters. The DC coupled inputs and premium-grade components ensure optimal audio performance and fidelity. The sleek faceplate features an ergonomic layout with each parameter annotated for quick and easy access. It also features a 6-pin header that normals the stereo outputs to the stereo inputs of the uJack via the ribbon cable.
