The American Sound 8D drumsticks are a round tip alternative to the Vic Firth American Classic drumsticks - ideal for players looking for the unrivalled precision of a round tip.
What's the difference? The round stick tips have a smaller surface area than the teardrop tips, providing an increased focus and clarity to drums and cymbals. These tips allow drummers to change their sound and colour without sacrificing feel or balance of a traditional teardrop drumstick, whilst adding more precision and consistency across the whole drum kit.
Time invested manufacturing
The Vic Firth drumsticks undergo a vigorous manufacturing process and testing stages to ensure each stick meets the Vic Firth quality standard. After approximately 16 steps of honing, refining, and finishing, the Vic Firth sticks are finally ready. No one else invests that much time and energy in creating the perfect pair of sticks.
The perfect wood - hickory
American Classic Hickory Drumsticks are a combination of traditional and Vic Firth style. They show off bold designs and are made from hickory, which is a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also great at dealing with shock, making it extremely durable.
