Coil-splitting. But not as you know it. The Yamaha Revstar RS420 comes fitted with the specially designed dry switch feature. With most coil-split humbuckers, after the pickup is split to sound like a single-coil, volume is lost and clarity muddied. Thanks to the dry switch, this won't happen with the Revstar.
