The GT-1000 is the first guitar multi-effects unit to be equipped with a 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate throughout. This is coupled with an all-new DSP engine, specially designed for a wide selection of musical applications and featuring three times the power of its predecessors. This setup unlocks immense sonic detail, offering an incredibly quick and easy way to create the perfect sound for any situation without endless parameter tweaks and microscopic EQ adjustments.
The powerful AIRD technology is a revolution in digital amp processing, bringing Boss’ comprehensive Tube Logic concept behind their Katana, Waza, and Blues Cube amps to digital guitar processing for new levels of performance, flexibility, and practice usability. Employing sophisticated techniques, the GT-1000 Multi-Effects can deliver ground-breaking musical responses which can be used in any musical applications. This AIRD technology also loads the Boss Effects Pedal with a wide selection of immensely expressive guitar amps, reproducing the complex internal component interactions of tube amps in every way. This results in a completely interactive system, offering a tone that lives and breathes like a real high-end tube amp. Several of these amps also feature Boss’ MDP (Multi-Dimensional Processing) Technology, offering dynamic and nuanced tones which reach beyond the capabilities of analogue designs.
Along with its incredible amp sounds, the Boss GT-1000 features an incredible selection of outstanding effects, ranging from overdrives and distortions to specialty effects like Slicer, Slow Gear, and a host of others. Most of these effects use Boss’ MDP technology, which allows the effect to intelligently adapt to your dynamics and playing style. The amps and effects can also be configured with various series and parallel routing options for the ultimate playing experience.
This units large display and six switching knobs makes the process of creating and adjusting the extensive range of sounds as smooth and efficient as possible. Its four play screen layouts allow players to alternate viewing options for various path functions, letting you customise its range of knobs for quick access to specific parameters. The GT-1000 also features the ability to save any effect as a ''stompbox'', allowing any parameter adjusts made to reflect across all the patches where its used. With its ten footswitches and expression pedal with toe switch, the GT-1000 gives you comprehensive creative control on stage and in the studio.
To finish off the GT-1000’s incredible capabilities, players can download Boss’ Tone Studio app for iOS and Android and use the pedal’s onboard Bluetooth to wirelessly manage its sounds. This is ideal for tweaking the Multi-Effect Unit without going anywhere near it, perfect for jamming sessions where constantly bending over the unit is a hassle. Its USB and MIDI options also offer further control, featuring a multi-channel audio operation to provide flexible recording and efficient re-amping. Players can also use the USB port to connect to a PC or Mac and use the desktop version of the Tone Studio editor to adjust and organise the GT-1000 sounds.
