Key Features
Give your tone the sound of the 50s and 60s. And bring California vibes too. The Crazy Tube Circuits Killer V takes all the unique experimentation from the amps of these decades and packs it into one convenient unit. It’s got a very distinct, true pitch-shifting vibrato circuit. So you can create wonderfully warbling sounds at the tap of a toe. And it’s easy to shape your vibrato exactly how you want it with Depth and Speed controls as well as a Wet/Dry switch.
But it doesn’t just offer this. You can also expect all the behaviour, sound, and feel of retro Californian amps. Sculpt this preamp feature with the Volume, Master, Bass, and Treble dials while the three-position switch lets you choose between a Normal, Bright, or Mellow tone. All this versatility comes crammed into a nifty pedal that will fit snuggly into your effects setup.

Rigorous design. Extensive yet creative planning. Crazy Tube Circuits let the cool and unique amplifiers born in California in the 50s and 60s be their inspiration for this game-changing effects pedal. Their attention to detail goes all the way down to an all analog JFET technology and an internal voltage multiplier. This means high headroom and an ultimate tube-like tone. However, it not only recreates that distinctive overdrive but the lower gain/clean sounds of these amps as well. So, if dynamic, recognisable, and quality tones are your thing - then this could be a valuable addition to your pedalboard.
Every pedal needs a stand out point. And with the Killer V, it’s the vibrato. An all analog LFO drives two discrete phase shift modulation stages. This creates a pitch modulation effect almost identical to the real thing. This is an effect that’s not just a sound – it’s an experience. Remaining true to the original designs there’s also the option of placing dry signal in parallel with the wet, so you get whirling phaser/vibe sounds. Giving your sound an extra edge is as simple as plugging in and tapping your foot.
