The KAMI-4 is equipped with an ESP Designed LS-100 Single Coil pickup at the neck and a Seymour Duncan George Lynch Signature 'Hunter' Pickup at the bridge. The LS-100 offers a variety of fierce and scary tones to suit the sound of Lynch himself. Whilst the Seymour Duncan George Lynch Signature 'Hunter' Pickup delivers the iconic Lynch tones with the punchy and present sound of heavy metal. These pickups are capable of producing good output for leads just like George Lynch himself. The controls include a master-volume which has a dual role of a push-pull pickup selector between the powerful versatile pickups.
The ESP KAMI-4 is crafted with a basswood body, which produces fat, yet balanced tones with excellent dynamics and tone definition. The basswood body is lightweight and the double cutaway shape offers easy access to the higher frets; which all contribute to a comfortable playing experience for long gig nights and rehearsals.
Manufactured with a maple neck, players can achieve an incredibly comfortable and smooth feel when navigating the fingerboard. The maple neck offers bright tones with good clarity, and it is paired with a maple fingerboard, which provides added definition and twang for a sound with excellent sustain.
With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose 1000 Locking Tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's the Floyd Rose 1000 bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by addition of the locking nut at the end of the headstock. The KAMI-4 is also equipped with LTD Tuners to keep your tone in tune all night.
George Lynch is known in the music world as the former lead guitarist of American metal band, Dokken and founding member of Lynch Mob. Lynch's first endorsement with ESP began in 1986 and he has been shredding ESP guitars ever since. ESP's signature George Lynch collection represents his 'incindery' guitar attitude; as evident through the crazy design of the KAMI-4.
