The warm tone produced from the mahogany neck and body of the 509 is harnessed by the 509 humbucker and single coil pickups to emit a sound that assumes the lead. It's in the name. Five pickups, nine sounds. As well as delivering a killer tone, the 509 pickups can be coil split via two mini toggles and then further manipulated with a five-way blade selector.
