The S2 Custom 24-08 expands on the standard Custom 24 format by introducing a versatile switching system. With a 3-way toggle and two mini toggle coil-split switches, you can run each pickup in humbucking or single-coil mode, independently. This unlocks eight total pickup combinations, allowing you to move from thick and punchy rhythm tones to crisp, articulate leads or clean single-coil sparkle without changing guitars.

Reliable tonewoods and PRS build quality

This model pairs a figured maple top with a mahogany body, offering a balanced blend of resonance, warmth and attack. The set-neck construction enhances sustain, while the high-gloss nitro finish lets the wood breathe and resonate naturally. Whether you're plugged in or playing acoustically, the body construction delivers a consistently responsive feel with plenty of tonal character.

Comfortable neck built for speed

The Pattern Thin neck profile is slim, fast and designed for modern playability. Crafted from mahogany with a scarfed joint, it feels stable and smooth under your fretting hand. A rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius makes bends and chords equally comfortable, while the 25" scale gives a slightly slinkier feel compared to longer-scale instruments. It’s an ideal setup for lead work and rhythm playing alike.
