Xotic Effects RC Booster V2 - Nearly New Overview
The Xotic Effects RC Booster V2 Pedal is a modified and renewed version 2 of the Xotic’s iconic RC Booster. The V2 provides even more tonal shaping opportunities than its predecessor with an added gai channel for fatter and full-bodied tones. Incredibly transparent thanks to its 20dB+ clean boost retains the natural tone of your guitar, for a harmonic boosted tone.
The 2-band active EQ allows you to accurately adjust the shape of your sound to fit your exact tonal specifications. With controls that consist of two gains, treble, volume, bass, bypass and a gain switch that allows you to add the gains together for a big sound. The RC Booster V2’s true bypass preserves your tone, and eliminates signal interference when turned off.

The RC Booster V2 offers even more opportunities for tonal shaping than the original, with an added gain channel for additional sonic versatility. The classic controls include gain 1 for the ‘main gain,’ active bass and treble have up to +/- 15 dB boost/cut and active volume for up to +/-20Db boost. There is also an efficient true bypass a gain 2 knob which makes the RC Booster V2 so unique, and a gain 2 switch combining the gains for super full heavy tones.
Trio of Xotic effects pedals
Xotic Effects offer three ‘modern classic’ pedals that work as exceptionally well together as they do on their own. These consist of the AC Booster and BB Preamp pedals; the AC Booster is the original overdrive with a warm and incredibly smooth sound. The RC Booster is an overdrive/boost effects pedal with low-gain for a clean and natural boosted tone. The BB Preamp provides a huge, full and beefy sounding overdrive with good levels of gain.

Xotic Effects was created in California back in 1996, where the one-man business produced high-quality bass guitars and preamps. Two years later, Xotic Basses imagined the Robotalk 1 pedal; an ultra-boutique model created from scratch. Since then, Xotic have expanded their pedal range, all of which are made using top-quality parts and offer great sound and versatility.
