The microphone includes a built-in high-pass filter. The 80 Hz high-pass filter is ideal for minimising unwanted low-end noise. This can be used to supress and eliminate traffic and wind noise. It can be a highly useful tool when shooting outside or in demanding weather conditions.
The sensitivity of the microphone is also switchable. You can choose between -10dB and +20dB settings to cater to different recordings.
