Key Features
The QU-Bit Electronix Pulsar is a unique 4 channel gate pattern sequencer that allows you to create complex rhythms and programmed gate sequences. The Pulsar offers 4 channels with up to 16 step sequences. It offers multiple pattern sequencing modes including normal sequencing, Euclidean rhythms, binary digit patterns, and randomised patterns. The gravity and absorb buttons offers unique behaviours that are simulated by real physics such as speeding up towards the end of the pattern sequence. The Pulsar allows you to easily create sequences and modify them on-the-fly.

The QU-Bit Electronix Pulsar offers 4 pattern modes that include sequential, Euclidean, binary and random. These effect the way the patterns are created when turning the master encoder. Sequential mode allows you to fine-tune manually at in each step/pulse. The Euclidean rhythm generator is a tool that evenly displaces a number of notes over the steps. Turn the main encoder to increase the number of hits or fill notes divided up across the pattern. You can also offset the patterns, which is great tool to use in a live performance. The binary mode creates binary digit patterns, while the random mode generates random bursts. Turning the main encoder will add or remove random pulses from the sequence.
The absorb and gravity buttons allow you to alter the behaviour of the sequence and affect its movement through time. When the absorb button is pressed, it resets all the bursts. The burst button can be used to trigger the sequence. If a channel's burst is set to Asynchronous, the burst will output immediately. If it is set to Synchronous, channel 1 will output immediately, but the sequence will advance on the next internal or external clock pulse. There is also the option to trigger individual channel with the burst button. The gravity button is a time-based effect that can be used to create a bouncing ball effect where the sequence speeds up towards the end.
