Simplifying the process of EQ and fine-tuning an overwhelming range of parameters, pure:EQ distils it down to three steps. Using a range of preset profiles to calibrate pure:EQ to a specific sound source, the intelligent analysis can produce a more musically pleasing sound than by just guesswork.

Next, the AI-learning algorithms will listen to your incoming signal, capturing the character, response and dynamics of your source. This unique feature ensures that the EQ is dynamic and moves with your music, instead of a static filter being applied. With pure:EQ, you won't be fighting against muddy low-end or clouded midrange, instead, that's all taken care of for you, in as little as three steps!

Genre-based profiles

Taking the guesswork out of the complex EQ process, pure:EQ utilises a profile-based preset system. This allows you to choose the most appropriate style of input signal you're feeding the plug-in, ensuring that the listening requirements of the genre will be met with the EQ processing applied to your signal.

Instead of static presets, the power of AI lets your creative ideas come to life where the processing is more accurate to the requirements of your chosen genre, evolving and moving with your music instead of applying general terms which may or may not work on every mix you do.

The neural networks are able to generate a filter curve that balances your track in seconds. Efficiency without complex tweaking

For such a complex and subjective process such as EQ, having access to a few parameters is essential in helping to tailor the process to your track or project requirements. For this reason, pure:EQ includes a select number of parameters to help you get the best from your sound, without overwhelming you with options. Employing a Dynamic Adaption feature, pure:EQ develops over time, moving and changing the processing with the movement of the audio track, providing a consistent sound no matter the change in the audio file. This can be particularly useful when working with guitars or vocals where they move through notes and registers, each with different tonalities and frequency ranges to maintain a consistent sound. Low values lead to slow and subtle variations whereas high values lead to quickly changing sounds where sudden changes are filtered in real-time.

pure:EQ also encompasses three Style options: warm, neutral and bright, enabling you to achieve your desired tone with just one click. The warm style creates a generous midrange boost to smooth out your tone, while bright enhances brilliance to make even the darkest of sound sources articulate. Neutral sits between the two, offering less colour over your entire signal than the other modes.

You can also use the overall Range selector to determine the full frequency range over which EQ processing is applied. Ideal when you want to leave a particular range such as the sub-bass untouched and process the rest of the frequencies.

Once you have honed how you want pure:EQ to work on your signal, the Balance parameter can then be used as a more advanced version of a traditional 'mix' control. With Balance, you can adjust the amount of processing applied to your signal, where higher values lead to strong adjustments and lower values only work on problematic frequency areas.
